Request for Personal Property

Request for Personal Property

Dear Deb:

I am writing pursuant to our telephone conversation regarding the return of the personal property of Dr. Gregory J. Dixon that was left at the Church property at the time of the seizure on February 13, 2001. The personal items have been returned to the people of the church, but nothing belonging to Dr. Dixon was returned.

You asked me to give you a list of the items missing so that the property could be found and returned. The property missing was in the first room in the “elementary wing” on the first floor of the school area and in the office area.

Property in the first room of the elementary wing on the first floor of the school area:

1. Two small black travel bags. They had a few personal items in them, including, a tube of a prescription drug.
2. On the shelf above the bed there was a bottle of medicine.
3. On the table next to the bed there was a bottle of “Excedrin.”
4. Also in the room were: a pair of brown boots (Florsheim), some socks, handkerchiefs, blue air mattress, and a black sleeping bag.

Property in the office area:

1. Three notebooks: Two black notebooks containing sermon material of Dr. Dixon with his notes, and one blue notebook containing his journal for the 92 day period the church congregation occupied the church property as a redress of grievance.
2. Maroon journal that was dated 2001 and was in the metal desk drawer of the desk that was in the glass office located off the foyer.
3. Phone sheets belonging to Dr. Dixon consisting of several sheets of 8-1/2 x 11 inch white paper stapled together.

These items, especially the journal, three notebooks and phone sheets are invaluable to Dr. Dixon and cannot be replaced. They have no value to the trustee or to the IRS agents who were present after the raid and must be returned ASAP.

You were at the Church building after the raid, and when the federal agents (IRS) inventoried the property of the Church. You may remember seeing these items. I would appreciate the government retuning the items to my attention by UPS addressed to meat 20758 Big Bend Road, Montgomery Creek, CA 96065.

As a personal note: I still hope for the unconditional return of the Church properties to the congregation of the Church and end this unfortunate siege of a Church in America. As a Christian, you know the attack on the congregation (assembly) of the Church is a direct attack on the person of Jesus Christ. I refer you to Acts Chapter 8 where the Apostle Paul (then Saul) persecuted the Church and Chapter 9 where he was confronted on the Damascus trail by Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? By this attack on the people of this Church, this country has placed itself above God; a dangerous thing to do. God will not tolerate an attack on His Holiness. The situation calls for repentance by those involved and the nation as a whole. I pray for you. Some may have an excuse, but as James said, “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” James 4:17. I am not judging here, that is not my job. I am merely expressing a burden that I have for you as a sister in Christ.

I thank you in advance for returning the personal items of Dr. Dixon.

Sincerely,

Albert F. Cunningham
