Snyder/Richie Obituaries

SNYDER/RITCHIE OBITUARIES

Jonathan Snyder (2003 - 2014)

Jonathan, the eleven year old son of Robert and Eunice Snyder of Lewistown, Montana, passed into the arms of the Lord Jesus on Sept. 8.  He laid down for a nap and never awakened.  He had a worrisome cough for several days but no fever, and his parents had no idea that he had Viral Encephalitis. Jonathan was a dedicated Christian believer and homeschooler who witnessed to others regularly about his faith in Christ. There is a web site dedicated to Jonathan at www.lightyour world.org/jonathan. He is survived by three brothers and a sister. Bro. Robert Snyder is pastor of the unregistered Lighthouse Baptist Church of Lewistown.

Dr. Omer Ritchie

Home with the Lord at age 87

Dr. Omer Ritchie  passed away at his home on Sept. 17, after some days in a Ft. Worth Hospital with various ailments, with his wife Cynthia and other members of his family near him.  Bro. Ritchie had been pastor of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Indianapolis, and Co-Pastor with his twin brother Homer Ritchie, of the historic First Baptist Church of Ft. Worth after the passing of long time pastor, Dr. J. Frank Norris.  There will be a memorial service in Ft. Worth on Oct. 18.
